IMG_7449Rentr, the complete lettings management solution for the private landlord and tenant, after a year in private beta, is now available to download on iOS and Android. Created by experts in the property industry, Rentr is a platform that helps private landlords and tenants rent property securely whilst abiding by industry regulations in one easy to use mobile app. The latest in PropTech, Rentr makes sure that all the latest checks and legislation are completed and managed efficiently and cost effectively for both parties.

Rentr is the brainchild of Vik Tara and Adam Blaxter, who’ve worked with Technology Blueprint Ltd, an industry leader in PropTech for over twenty years, to create the app that enables landlords to manage all aspects of their rental properties in one easy to use cloud based system. The app was designed to be efficient and to save time and money in a changing market, specifically for the private landlord and their tenants.

Rentr brings all aspects of private property management under one free to download roof. The team built Rentr based on the fact that (according to the UK Private Landlords Survey 2010) over 50% of landlords in the UK are private landlords who unlike agencies didn’t have easy and cost effective management tools available to them, until now.

Adam Blaxter, Director, Rentr: ‘In a climate of increasing scrutiny, taxation, and regulation the pressures on Landlords to be compliant with local and national regulations are increasing, as are the basic costs of managing a property in the private residential sector.’

‘Letting and Property Management agencies have a range of software products and third-party professional services to draw upon: the agency space has a full ecosystem of standards and service-providers. We identified that the Direct Landlord space was not supplied with the kind of software services that are available to Agents.’

‘We recognised that mobile technology could be used to take the pain of letting and managing a property away from direct landlords and their tenants. Mobile technology could connect ‘direct landlords’ directly to their tenants via a mobile app: a single simple place to take care of their property.’

‘We created Rentr anew from the ground up: a well-designed piece of lettings and property management software, carefully built to capture all the process-flows and regulatory and administrative requirements of the U.K. Private Rental Sector, delivered as a mobile app for Landlords and their Tenants to use on a day-to-day basis would be a game changer.’

‘Rentr operates at a fraction of the costs of traditional and web-based agents, and charges no fees at a percentage of a landlord’s rent. In fact, due to the unique app-based access Rentr provides, almost all of the services available via Rentr are less costly than equivalent services you can find elsewhere.’
